Instructors:
Brandon
Christensen, LPN is an owner and instructor. He is a Licensed Practical
Nurse in the State of Colorado and is advanced first aid certified. He
has
about 10 years of health-care experience. This experience ranges from
working in a nursing facility and hospital as a Certified Nursing
Assistant to several years on a volunteer fire department as a
firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician and primary medical
instructor, to most recently as an LPN in hospitals, clinics and home
care environments. He is currently certified as an instructor through
the American Heart Association, American Red Cross and the American
Safety and Health Institute.
Catherine
Roffelsen, RN, MSN is also an owner and instructor. She is a
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Colorado. She holds a Masters
Degree in Nursing and has a BA in psychology. She has 9 years of
health-care experience as a nurse caring for OB/GYN patients, infants
in a neonatal intensive care unit, clinics, and was also a lifeguard.
She is currently certified as an instructor through the American Heart
Association and the American Safety and Health Institute. She
also is an approved provider of Medication Administration Training for
Child Care Providers.
