FYI: While you must take this class to administer medications, be aware that this class alone does not constitute delegation to legally administer medications. Per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act, you (or your employer) must establish a relationship with a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Colorado. The RN will provide the legally mandated oversight necessary for you to administer medications. This does not apply in family child care settings. No RN delegation is required for family child care providers.
