Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policies: Updated 4-2-2008

Class Registrations
 
  1. Prepayment and preregistration are required for all classes. No seats are held without prepayment. 
  2. On-line credit card or check prepayment  is required to immediately reserve a seat in a class.
  3. Payments sent via mail will be accepted in the order received. Phone registrations are accepted with credit card or check by phone payment. Certificates will be held until the payment has cleared.

Late Arrivals:

  1. To avoid delays in classes, we encourage course attendees to plan ahead to account for weather, traffic delays, etc. At the instructor's discretion, anyone more than 15 minutes late may be required to reschedule.

Cancellations
 
  1. While we make every effort to avoid class cancellations, upon occasion  weather or other circumstances beyond our control may make it necessary to cancel a class.
  2. If your class is canceled, we will make every effort to notify you 24 hours in advance. We will attempt to speak to you in person. Customers are responsible for checking both e-mail (if given) and voice mail before the class for notification of cancellation.
 
Refund Policies
 
  1. If we cancel your class, a full refund will be given if you are unable to transfer.
  2. Course fees are non-refundable with less than 7 days remaining until the class.
  3. All cancellations are subject to a $15 cancellation fee, per class, per person.
  4. You may reschedule your class once at no charge if requested PRIOR to the start of the class. 
  5. If you fail to call and do not attend the class, no rescheduling will be allowed and no refunds will be given!
  6. All rescheduling must be completed within 60 days of the initial registration.
  7. Wilderness First Aid and Advanced First Aid training courses are subject to special refund policies.
 
 Advanced First Aid and Wilderness First Aid Course Refund Policy
 
  1. Due to the significant amount of time involved, we reserve the right to cancel our advanced first aid and wilderness first aid course offerings if insufficient registration occurs. You may choose to negotiate an individual rate if needed. You will be notified if this is projected to be an issue with your course. In the event of cancellation, students will receive a full refund of fees paid, minus any book and shipping costs.
  2. All refund requests are subject to a $25 administrative fee. 
  3. Refund requests are handled in the following fashion:
    1. With over 4 weeks prior to the course, full refund minus administrative fee.
    2. Less than 4 weeks prior to the course, a 50% refund will be given.
    3. Cancellations with two weeks or less remaining will not be entitled to refunds.
    4. You may choose to transfer (sell) your seat to another party. You must forward a letter to us, signed by both parties, indicating that this has been done and the new attendee agrees to all Colorado Safety Training LLC terms and conditions.
Miscellaneous
 
  1. Customers are responsible for ensuring the class registered for is appropriate. No guarantee is made that any certificate will be accepted by your school, employer or other entity.
  2. We do not guarantee you will pass all practical and/or written tests to receive certifications.
  3. It is the responsibility of the customer to maintain a proper learning environment. For classes  at our office, disruptive students will be asked to leave without refund.
  4. Customers are expected to be available for the entire projected length of class time. We will not rush through courses to accommodate individual scheduling issues. Skills checks are available for most courses and are the best way to handle scheduling issues.
