This class is
accredited by the American Heart Association and results in a
two-year
certification.
Topics
Included:
Adult, child and infant one and
two-rescuer
CPR. We also cover use of the Ambu-bag (bag-mask), mouth to mask
resuscitation and use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
Intended Audience:
This class is
intended for physicians, dentists, nurses, nursing assistants,
respiratory / physical / occupational therapists, EMS, most other
health care workers and students entering health care programs.
If you are not
a health care worker,
please
click here for our CPR and first aid classes for community
and workplace. This class will meet any CPR requirement, but does not
contain a
first aid component.
Recertification
Options:
If you have a
current or recently lapsed
BLS card, you have a
couple options for
recertification. The first option is to take a regular class. The
second option is to do a new hybrid recertification option where you
complete the written and video portion on-line and come in for a quick
skills check. For more information about this option, please

Cost:
- Regular
class for initial, lapsed or refresher
certification: (about 3 hours) $60, includes book.
