As you may be aware, getting involved in an emergency situation can come with a certain amount of risk of exposure to contagious diseases. Luckily, with the proper information, this risk can be minimized.

This course is about 1.5 hours and will cover everything you need to know about disease transmission: *

How pathogens are spread,
Types of pathogens,
Use of Personal Protective Equipment,
Post-exposure follow up,
Blood spill clean up.
